Every week starts with a creative challenge. Sometimes there’s a prompt. Sometimes a character. Sometimes a completely ridiculous idea.

Who is this group for?
This group is for kids who are discovering that writing can be more than something you have to do for school. We make up characters, invent crazy situations, laugh at our own ideas, and turn those ideas into stories we can share with friends.
We're here to get better at storytelling, but we're also here to have fun. Sometimes a story works perfectly. Sometimes it takes a very unexpected turn. Either way, we laugh, learn, and keep writing.

🎭 Love making up characters.
Maybe it's an invisible cat who swings a stick, a lonely drone who just wants a friend, or a character nobody has ever imagined before. In this group, strange ideas are welcome.
😂 Like making people laugh.
Create ridiculous situations, put your characters in trouble, make unexpected twists, and see what happens when your friends read your story.
✍️ Have lots of ideas, but aren't always sure what to do with them.
We'll give you a character, a situation, or a crazy idea to get things started. Then you get to take the story wherever you want. You don't have to know exactly what happens before you start writing.

I believe kids become better writers when they have something they actually want to write about. My goal isn't to turn kids into perfect writers. It's to give them a place where their ideas can grow, where they can experiment, make things up, and discover that writing can be fun.
Lucratas grew out of that idea: a small community where kids can write their own stories, share them with other kids, and build something together week after week.
It's so cool! I get to hang out with my friends! It's like school but way way more fun.
