What happens in the group?
Every week starts with a creative challenge. Sometimes there’s a prompt. Sometimes a character. Sometimes a completely ridiculous idea.

Who is this group for?
This group is for teenages who love telling stories, inventing ridiculous characters, and coming up with ideas that somehow get crazier every week—but sometimes have a hard time turning all those ideas into an actual story.
You might start with an overpowered hero, a completely insane villain, or a scene that makes everyone laugh. Then we figure out what happens next.

🎭 Have way too many story ideas.
Overpowered heroes. Completely ridiculous villains. Epic battles. Weird characters. Stories that start with one idea and somehow end up somewhere nobody expected.
😂 Like making people laugh.
Make fun of each other in your stories, create increasingly ridiculous plots, and see who can come up with the next unexpected twist.
✍️ Have ideas, but struggle to turn them into stories.
Maybe you know exactly what you want a character to do, but don't know how to get from the beginning to the end. Maybe you start writing and get stuck halfway through. We work together to turn those ideas into something you can actually write.
🧑💻 Need help staying focused long enough to finish something.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't having an idea—it's sticking with it. When we write, the phones get put down and we give the story a chance to happen.
👥 Want to write with other creative kids.
Share stories, build worlds, argue about what happens next, make each other laugh, and steal the occasional terrible idea from your friends.

Writing teacher & founder of Lucratas
I believe kids become better writers when they have something they actually want to write about. My goal isn't to turn kids into perfect writers. It's to give them a place where their ideas can grow, where they can experiment, make things up, and discover that writing can be fun.
Lucratas grew out of that idea: a small community where kids can write their own stories, share them with other kids, and build something together week after week.
